HEY!

Advotis is the private office of Tomas Rasner, a Czech serial entrepreneur, and serves as his consulting and investment company.

Tomas started his first business at the age of 23 while studying in Vienna, Austria. Along with partners, he co-founded the largest magazine for university students in the Czech and Slovak Republics — Studenta, which was later acquired by the publishing house Economia.

Leveraging his media platform and the steadily growing online space, Tomas expanded his business by investing in Primat, which became the largest Czech study portal. He also co-founded the ride-sharing platform Jizdomat, later acquired by the global leader BlaBlaCar, and a career/media platform for young professionals, Proudly, which was acquired by the European leader Welcome to the Jungle.

Tomas is passionate about innovative projects, mentoring, and working with several startups, consultancies, and creatives. He also collaborates and invests with Presto Ventures, a major VC player in the CEE region.

Outside of work, Tomas is a sports enthusiast and adventure lover. He enjoys taking his bikes out for a spin, participating in all triathlon disciplines, and spending nice winter days on his cross-country skis.
